A pine country dresser with three drawers and three doors to the base; Two glazed display doors to the top with an open shelved section in between with a shaped pelmet and a shaped pelmet above the worktop. The simple cornice echoes the base which sits on eight bun feet

Unlike most similar dressers the top part is permanently fixed to the pine worktop (so when separated the bottom unit stands without a top). We sanded, primed and undercoated before professionally spray painting in Moonstone acrylic water based satin, including the innards of the base. The inside of the top has been painted in Regency White as a contrast and the decorative trim, handpainted in Moonstone. We then waxed with Carnauba to protect. The pine top once sanded back has had 2 coats of Matt sealer and a further coat of Carnauba wax for added protection. The glass doors looked dated as they were originally leaded, so we removed this to give it a new look. To complete the refinish we added white ceramic crackle glaze knobs.
