A large pine farmhouse table with carved detailing, a good wide top and substantial turned legs; this is matched with 6 large pine ladderback chairs and 2 contrasting beech slatback carvers.
After preparation, we gave the table top three coats of water based matt varnish. The chairs and table frame received a coat of shellac based primer, then a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in Pale Linen. We followed this with a coat of matt varnish. All coats were professionally sprayed.
