A large pine farmhouse table with a good top and turned legs; this is paired with 6 fiddleback beech chairs, 2 of which are carvers. The chair set is slightly mis-matched but the height differences are barely noticeable.
After preparation, we gave the table top three coats of water based matt varnish. The chairs and table frame received a coat of shellac based primer, then a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in Shaded White. We followed this with a coat of matt varnish. All coats were professionally sprayed.
