This heavy panelled desk is a very individual piece of furniture in rosewood and other hardwoods.The drawer fronts all feature dragon carving detail with inset drawer pulls. This carving detail is also on the chair back rest. The panelling on the desk extends to the undersides!
The top of the desk was sanded back to reveal the natural wood and was then matt sealed for protection. The body of the desk and the chair, after full preparation have been painted in 'Aurora' water based acrylic satin and sealed with matt varnish. The piece has been wax finished with carnauba to leave a smooth, silky and protective finish.
