This is a pine, hand painted, country dresser with three doors to the base. There are two top display section doors with a shelf section in between them. Our "Practical" Fairy has rebuilt this dresser and it's now far more solid than it was brand new.

We sanded, primed and undercoated before painting in "Calam" Acrylic water based satin which we contrasted with " Regency White" before waxing with Carnauba to protect. Calam is a very subtle blue-grey. We removed the glass sections in the top doors and replaced with chicken mesh painted in Regency White to give a real Country look.The pine top once sanded back has had 2 coats of Matt sealer and a further 2 coats of Carnauba wax for added protection. To finish the transformation we painted and added decoupage to pine door knobs which we sealed with several coats of clear matt sealer.
