A pine country dresser with three drawers and three doors to the base, the doors are double panelled with arched tops.The base  sits on a plinth of attractively shaped skirting. The top section has display doors to either side each with twin glazed sections matching the lower doors in shape. There is an open shelved section in between with a shaped pelmet at the top and two small central drawers below. The top is crowned by a moulded cornice.

The doors to the bottom section were showing time related wear and tear and the joints had moved apart. Our Practical Fairy corrected the problem as far as possible and making the doors functional for everyday use without spoiling their character. After thorough preparation, we professionally spray painted the piece inside and out. Firstly, we applied a coat of shellac based primer, then a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. Two coats of water based acrylic satin followed, the colour is Moonstone. We then applied two coats of water based matt varnish to the worktop and one to the external paintwork. We carnauba waxed the whole piece and added grey ceramic crackle glaze knobs.

The height to the worktop is 86cm.
