An antique Edwardian mahogany dressing table with two large drawers and two smaller drawers in the base. The large oval mirror is supported by two spire-topped posts with a shaped panel below fronted by two little vanity drawers with curved fronts. The legs of the table have original castors. We have papered the vanity drawers in vintage Parisian paper. We were told when we purchased the piece that it had been used on the set of "Downton Abbey" ! Whether this is true or not, it is in very good condition given the age.

At some point there has been woodworm at the back and whilst this is long gone, as a precaution we gave the dressing table full treatment to be 100% sure. After full preparation sanding, priming and undercoating we painted in Laura Ashley colour Pale Linen. After painting we waxed using Carnauba for protection. All the handles are original and in good antique condition.
