This is a very handsome and well made Desk which we have teamed with a solid and good quality carver chair.
After full preparation sanding, priming and undercoating, we painted the desk and chair in "Greyfriars" acrylic satin, which we felt was a good shade for a Desk with Chair. We have lined all the drawers, using past times paper.To continue the theme the chair has been reupholstered in fabric which is very similar to the past times paper used in the drawers of the desk. After reupholstering the fabric has been Scotchguard protected. As with all our painted furniture we waxed the desk & chair frame using carnauba wax to give it a silky & protective finish.
