A large pine farmhouse table with a good top and turned legs; this is paired with 8 slatback beech chairs, 2 of which are carvers.  The table top and frame had been very lightly distressed when manufactured. This does not spoil the look of the impressive table. 

After preparation, we gave the table top three coats of water based matt varnish. The chairs and table frame received a coat of shellac based primer, then a coat of water based acrylic resin undercoat. We then applied two coats of water based acrylic satin in Hardwick. We followed this with a coat of matt varnish. All coats were professionally sprayed.
