An antique victorian side table with wide drawer. Character pine top and a bottom shelf. We love this table, it's so full of character ....in fact I'm not quite sure why we were selling it? It would look brilliant in a rustic kitchen or even as a hall table.
It needed some repairs before we could paint the legs, which after priming and undercoating we painted in Peri Acrylic satin. The drawer has it's original handles but we did need to replace the screws. The top and bottom shelf have been left in natural pine and after cleaning had a coat of pure Beeswax to enhance the mellow colour of the wood. Carnauba wax has been applied to the legs and other painted surfaces to leave a soft satin finish.
