An antique Victorian pine farmhouse table with drawer, matched with 4 good farmhouse chairs. We love this table it has so much character. When we took charge it was very lop-sided as it had a loose foot. We quickly realised that it had casters originally so we gave it some new ones. Our "Practical Fairy" believes it was originally a school table, we other two are not sure. The table has certainly had an interesting life so far and one thing we "Fairies" are agreed on is that the table has been shortened at some point during its life.

We gave the top the full sanding work over and then sealed and waxed with carnauba. The legs and frame of the table have been primed, undercoated and then top coated in "Peri" water based acrylic paint. This has then been carnauba waxed for protection. The 4 chairs are "Priory" and we feel complement the table well. These have also been primed, undercoated and then painted in "Peri".
